I wanted to save money and use re-filled/remanufactured ink. Not to be. HP must put some special chip in their cartridges to tell the machine to not recognize generic replacement as new refills. The machines will only work with the branded cartridges. These remanu companies need to address this before continuing to sell these and rip me off for shipping to find out that they do not work. Get a clue. UGH!!!
